Lucas always works hard in my class and is also very respectful and helpful.
Noah is quiet but always works hard and does what he is supposed to.
Elijah has continued to work hard and tries to do his best in my classes. His attitude towards school and staff has grown tremendously this year.
Justin is always willing to put in the extra work both in the classroom and outside of the classroom. When he knows he will be gone he makes sure he knows what he needs to do and gets it done before he leaves.
The Douglas County Dairy Association has agreed to continue offering free milk for snack for the rest of the school year! To date, the Douglas County Dairy Association has provided more than 3200 cartons of milk to our students.

Ms. Rippentrop's reading intervention students had the opportunity to read to the elementary students prior to Christmas break. They did so well with their expressions and fluency!
Prior to the Christmas break, the 4th graders were busy building sleighs for Santa to deliver his packages. After brainstorming and sketching out their designs, they had a $1,000 budget to buy supplies. Then they used a Sphero and their programming skills to power the sleighs through the course. They showed great problem solving skills and perseverance to complete the challenge!
The 4th Grade class, with the assistance of Mrs. Meissner's FACS class, made 31 cozy fleece tie blankets for Christmas. Each student had the opportunity to choose a special person to gift their blanket to, allowing them to experience the true meaning and importance of giving.
Considering giving at the blood drive in the Evansville school on January 29th, hosted by the national honor society.
