SANTA! You could hear the kids giggle and get all excited when they saw Santa. Santa came to the Brandon campus today and read to the littles. Santa and his #1 elf then handed out candy canes and teddy bears to all the kids.
The Brandon-Evansville's Business Professionals of America (BPA) Chapter got together this past Saturday to have some fun and be a little creative. There was a lot of frosting/mortar used and 3 of the creations ended up winning prizes at the Evansville Santa days later that day. This group also spent some time helping the kids at Santa Day playing games.
The Spanish 2 students recently wrapped up a unit in which they learned about the Castells de Tarragona, a festival in Spain in which they compete to build the tallest human towers. They competed to use classroom objects to build the tallest tower - the winning group successfully built their tower all the way to the ceiling!
Congratulations to the FFA Crops team on placing 3rd at the region contest yesterday in Willmar. They are advancing to state! Kayla placed 1st overall individually!

The 6th through 12th grade Brandon-Evansville School concert scheduled for Thursday, December 15th has been POSTPONED due to inclement weather in tomorrow's forecast. The concert will instead be held during the school day on Wednesday, December 21st at 9:30 AM in the Brandon Gymnasium. School doors will open for spectators to attend. The concert will also be Live Streamed on our Facebook page.

Drama students from B-E and WCA participated in an acting workshop with the Dickens by Candlelight actors that came all the way from Florida. It was a great and fun experience for our students.
Yesterday the B-E Carolers sang for guests as they arrived to watch the Dickens by Candlelight performance at Railroad and 2nd.
