Congratulations to the November Middle School and High School Students of the Month!
Middle School
Calvin Evjen and Lily Volk
High School
Whitney Klimek and Kiatta Korkowski
What Staff have to say about the students of the month:
Calvin Evjen
Calvin is a great student. He comes to class on time each day with his completed homework. He participates in class regularly and is polite to everyone. At the end of each class, he walks around and makes sure all of the chairs are pushed in as well.
Lily Volk
Lily is sweet and caring and applies herself in all aspects. She stays to make sure the classroom is tidy, and always lends a helping hand.
Whitney Klimek
Whitney has really come out of her shell this year and is taking control of her own learning. She is taking risks and reaping the benefits of her engagement with school.
Kiatta Korkowski
Kiatta works so hard in English. She asks questions, responds during class discussions and group work appropriately, and completes all her homework thoroughly. She is kind to her classmates. She is helpful. She is responsible.
Kiatta has been very hard working in her schoolwork and is very aware of what he grade is in my class. Instead of giving up when things are hard, she asks questions and work until she understands.

Congratulations to Cole, Violet, Nikolas, Parker, and Maddex who received "Excellence in Science" at the final Middle School Knowledge Bowl event this season!

Deciding when to keep a sick child home from school is not always easy. It’s important for children to attend school and for some parents, staying home means missing work. But when a child is truly sick, they need to stay home in the care of an adult to get well and prevent spreading illness to others.
For more information visit our website's illness guidelines page at: https://www.b-e.k12.mn.us/o/isd-2908/page/ill
